Some images are made into a crochet pattern.

The Spade Pirate Flag is a prime example of this. I love Their jolly roger so I decided to crochet it. to the right has a carousel of progress.

Others are already patterns but for beading, cross stitch ect. I also look at pixel, 8-bit, and other grid images.

These pictures can be made through a bunch of single stitches or corner 2 corner style.
